Alamo City Symphony Viva presents Classical Tales, produced by Alamo City Arts!
Viva highlights three classic stories from the orchestral repertoire that are sure to delight listeners of all ages. Opening the concert is Edvard Grieg's setting of Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt followed by Prokofiev's film music from Lieutenant Kije. The program ends with Ravel's charming work Mother Goose that depicts famous fairy tales like "Tom Thumb" and "Beauty and the Beast".
